Job Purpose:
To support unpaid carers in East Lothian through the recruitment, selection, and training of Volunteers to be deployed throughout the service, as well as developing and promoting a series of information and training sessions to be delivered locally, with additional support from Volunteers.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a new colleague to join Lanarkshire Carers as a Centre Service Worker. You will be the first point of contact for carers accessing our organisation for information, advice and support. The position is full time, 35 hours per week, worked flexibly to include occasional evenings and weekends, however part-time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.
The post is Lanarkshire Carers Salary Grade 1, SCP 2-4, £22,664 - £23,844.

Group Coordinator Role:
We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator to cover support groups in St Andrews, Methil, Tayport and Cupar. Many people in East Fife face mental health challenges. Our groups strive to be a place of community and support, bringing people together, reducing isolation and loneliness, improving general wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
1. To run weekly groups with support from the caseworker and manager.
2. To be proactive in running the groups - to make sure the groups are interesting and relevant to those who attend.
3. To provide emotional and practical support to group attendees.
4. To arrange and serve a basic healthy lunch.
Hours: 18 per week. Most of that time is to be used for group facilitation between 9 am and 1 pm, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The rest of the time is to be used for outside the group duties, e.g. shopping, admin.
Contract: Permanent contract, salary £21,840 per annum pro rata (£12 p/h; we are a Living Wage Employer, salary increase due in April).
