Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join our Health and Justice team in Brighton & Hove, Sussex.The post holder will provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the multidisciplinary community mental health services. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role. Working within the service can at times be a stressful environment, by way of telephone calls, visitors, meetings and numerous daily urgencies. The post holder requires the ability to work under pressure, with conflicting demands at times, show a willingness to assist others, be a key member of the team with a requirement to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by their line manager. Main duties of the job 1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Health and Justice Service2. Collate statistical information and support performance monitoring.3. Take minutes of local team meetings and monitor actions.4. Provide confidential and efficient word processing service, including the preparation of reports and letters.5. Provide support around E-Procurement ie office supplies, clinical supplies, raising purchase orders and receipting goods.6. Open, sort and distribute incoming post, prioritising and screening urgent correspondence ensuring it receives appropriate attention/direction.8.
