Job summary We are looking to appoint a motivated person to work within the busy vaccination service booking centre at Ty Gwent in Cwmbran. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The post-holder will provide a service to the Vaccination Programme within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. An up-to-date knowledge of vaccination sites will be required to enable the post-holder to make, amend and cancel appointments, handle straightforward queries. The post-holder will need a working knowledge of all clinic protocols in addition to any specific standards for each clinic/specialty. The role will range from the registration of new patients, making calls to patients, answer telephone calls, booking appointments using the Welsh Immunisation System (WIS) and using direct and auto-generated booked appointments.
