The Role
With our most recent Global Water Summit in April being our biggest and most successful event to date, this is an exciting time to join our team. We are looking for a talented Events Operations Manager to:
1. Drive the Global Water Summit forward, taking charge of the timeline and team to ensure deadlines and targets are hit.
2. Deliver the event, taking charge of operations and logistics, to ensure we provide our audience with the event that they signed up for.
3. Develop the event year-on-year, evaluating feedback, making changes, and always looking for the next opportunity to grow the event.
4. Build effective and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
Applicants for the Events Operations Manager role will have:
1. Prior experience in conference/event management, within a B2B environment.
2. Big picture planning with the small details in mind.
3. Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
4. Highly organised with experience of cost/budget management.
5. Strong decision-making skills combined with a flexible approach.
6. A desire to learn new products and skills in a fast-paced and changing environment.
7. Flexibility to travel internationally as and when required.
