We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Team Leader within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Kings Lynn. An ideal role for someone that wants to combine elements of management and leadership while maintaining some direct clinical work.
This is an exciting time to join our CAMHS teams as we review our ways of working, to ensure our services are needs led, outcome informed and accessible for the young people within Norfolk and Waveney. We expect opportunities to be involved in providing specialist mental health care in a creative and innovative way, informed by overarching THRIVE principles. Further to this, we are working towards implementing newly designed treatment pathways and facilitating this implementation will be a key element of the role.
Main duties of the job
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced as a manager or someone with the skills and attributes to make the first step into leadership.
We are looking for someone who sees challenges as opportunities and can influence, inspire and energise others, as well as work with people's strengths to strive for service improvement and patient experience.
When you join us, you'll be working alongside the Service Manager, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Senior Nurses and will manage a team who provides mental health and psychologically informed services for children and young people in our communities. Currently, our Kings Lynn (West) team is working with our Central team to enable shared resources and support, and therefore this will provide additional support to the successful candidate.
You'll be compassionate, approachable and person-centred whilst supporting with the day-to-day delivery of our specialist service. You will be organised, quality-driven and level-headed when managing any operational/clinical issues arising within the service too.

Job responsibilities
This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3,000 (pro-rata for part-time roles). This is a one-off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months). The premium is taxable. Please note that should you leave employment, or choose to move to an alternative post within the Trust that does not attract this recruitment premium, you will be required to reimburse all or some of it, as follows: 100% of the value of the premium in the first 12 months; 50% of the value of the premium in the period 12 months to 2 years following appointment. Please note this recruitment premium is for external applicants only. Not applicable to newly qualified applicants.
If you are having to relocate for your role you are entitled to claim for up to £5,000 of relocation costs. Once you have started in post, please access the New Starter page on the Trust intranet where you will find the full relocation policy and details of how to claim. Please note you will need to provide receipts for your relocation expenses; if receipts cannot be provided, the relocation claim will be subject to tax. If you leave the Trust within a 2-year period you will be required to reimburse all or some of the total amount claimed.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip SW or Dip OT or equivalent
* Higher degree or post-graduate certificate in the area of clinical practice
Experience
* Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
* Experience in providing leadership in a mental health care environment
* Working in a community mental health team.
Knowledge
* An understanding of policies and guidelines both local and national e.g., National Institute for Clinical Excellence guidelines.
* Build on/develop further knowledge of psychosocial interventions and their appropriateness.
