About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team. The main purpose of the Finance Business Partner will be to support the business unit by providing best in class business partnering to the Operations team. Providing MI (including budgets and forecasts) and enabling decision making through financial analysis and insight. You will be part of a team developing the business's MI reporting suite and producing the business's annual financial budget & forecasts.
The role will involve:
* Financial analysis
o Conducting in-depth financial analysis to provide contract insight & support operational decision-making
o Understanding of contracts being billed including revenue & cost drivers to bridge Margin performance
o Revenue reporting ensuring accurate & maximised billing is reflected
o Cost reporting through analysis of payroll & consumables with detailed understanding of variances to budget
* Business Partnering
o Working with Operational leads to ensure understanding of margin erosion where applicable and support in any remedial strategies
o Forecasting any additional revenues and margins
o Business cases for additional spend and tracking performance to budget
o Collate and track risks and opportunities to client forecasts
* Management Information to deadlines
o Client/site P&Ls with variance reporting highlighting risks & opportunities to profitability
o Supporting leadership to understand margins & profitability for all clients and sites within BU
o Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing reporting suite through utilisation of Power BI
You will be able to demonstrate:
* At least 2+ years' experience in a financial analysis/management accounting role
* Qualified/Part Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or QBE
* Highly skilled in Excel functionality & Power BI
* Able to manage numerous Contracts
* Excellent attention to detail
* Analytical skills to aid in the review of data
* Able to work to tight and strict deadlines
* Ambitious and enthusiastic towards both your career and projects
* Ability to challenge positively and debate confidently.
* Ability to work openly and collaboratively at all levels
