We are looking for a highly creative individual to lead a small display planning team. We have big ambitions, and you will play a vital role in generating positive change.
You are passionate about all things creative along with a keen eye for detail – you'll need to design and deliver the big picture whilst managing the minor details. You will get the opportunity to use your talent to take our products, supporting the design of creative solutions and then bring them to life with physical VM layouts. But it is more than just looking good, customer experience and commercial performance is at the heart of everything we do.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring execution of VM concepts for major range changes, working closely with the Space Planners, Space Planning Manager along with cross functionally to ensure execution on these concepts deliver the brief.
* Accountable for the execution of VM concepts for all secondary & promotional space to bring the story to life, ultimately achieving key stakeholder buy-in.
* Managing the Promotional change calendar output and ensuring the product selections are suitable to space and can be fulfilled, challenging back where needed, working closely with Supply Chain, Trade Planning and wider Space Planning teams.
* Ensure promotional & secondary space range management aligns and there are robust exit plans.
* Partner with Marketing, VM team, Trade Planning, Store Operations and Category teams to deliver fully cohesive implementation plans for future cluster propositions.
* Creating 3D visuals to communicate concepts clearly before builds.
* Keeping up to date with innovative ideas and industry insight, constantly building knowledge of future trends.
* Building great rapport with stores, understanding how we can support them to look the best they can be.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.
The Person:
Key Requirements:
* Passionate about retail, design and visual merchandising.
* Previous visual merchandising and/or space planning experience.
* Ideally fluent in Sketch Up and Photoshop, however training will be provided.
* Self-motivated and organised, able to work independently on multiple projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel for competitor and store visits, mix of home / office / off site working.
