Chef Kitchen Support To prepare hot and cold foods to the standards put forward by the Head Chef. To assist and control a Section during service. To assist in the general kitchen cleanliness. To work within specific Sops (Standards of Procedures) set by the Head Chef. To identify any shortages of produce and prep items. To help produce baked goods to be sold in the restaurant and bar and communicate with the front of house staff ensuring they are aware of the ingredients and characteristics all baking. To be flexible and help out in any other way as required by any member of the kitchen team. Managing Relationships Develop and maintain relationships with all departments within the company to ensure there is a good flow of communication and understanding of customer expectations to ensure that service meets expectations. Act as an ambassador for the company at all times. Fully understand the many facets of the business and structure in order to value different requirements and act with diplomacy to achieve the best possible outcome. To be flexible in your approach so that you can help out with other departments when help is needed. Health and Safety Management.
