HVAP Data Centre Shift Supervisor
Location: Heathrow, near Slough
Salary: £55,000 per year

The company, a global data centre services organisation, is growing its presence and requires a HVAP Data Centre Supervisor to work at a critical data centre environment in Slough. The package includes a salary of £55,000, overtime pay, free on-site parking, career development opportunities, company pension, and more.
The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and implementing deliverables against customer-specific service level and KPI agreements. They will contribute to the development and operation of the managed services function by working with colleagues to develop and implement departmental strategy, objectives, and improvement processes. The operational requirements include being part of a team that covers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, on a shift rotation basis, and being available to cover shifts when possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Understand maintenance or extra works to be carried out and identify potential impacts on health and safety and critical plant operation through Critical Environment Work Authorisation (CEWA).
* Identify and utilise mitigating measures to address potential impacts through safe systems of work and operational procedures.
* Supervise the engineering team on critical maintenance and operations.
* Assist with asset condition reviews for engineering plant.
* Comply with customer-approved change management system.
* Actively supervise engineering risks using CERM methodologies.
* Be proficient in the use and application of CERMview.
* Hold High Voltage Authorised Person certification.
* Establish trusting relationships with site engineering teams, TET teams, DCS, and client staff.
* Lead cultural change daily by modelling safe working practices, compliance, quality standards, and best practice methods.
* Volunteer ideas/initiatives for continuous improvement and improved service levels.
* Contribute positively to team effort with a 'can do' attitude and high standards.
* Undertake other tasks as required by the Contract Manager, based on experience and competencies.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds Electrical competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent qualification.
* Comprehensive building services knowledge in similar environments to HVAC standards.
* Critical Environment Experience.
* Good customer relationship skills.
* Working knowledge of permit-to-work systems.
* Time-served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship.
* HV switching qualification/experience.
* 18th Edition IEE Regulations knowledge.
