We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Key Account Manager to develop ongoing business relationships with customers in the Pharmacy sector. The ideal candidate will implement account management principles, mentor team members, and contribute to the overall growth of the designated accounts whilst reporting into the National Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Key Accounts in the Pharmacy Channel, ranging from Wholesalers to Retailers.
* Drive profitable sales growth in managed accounts, ensuring targets and forecasts are met.
* Coach and support team members to enhance their account management skills, focusing on order achievements, distribution, merchandising, and promotional activities.
* Develop and implement comprehensive account plans aligned with client and organisational objectives.
* Maintain accurate sales analysis, forecasts, and budgetary compliance.
* Build and sustain multi-level relationships with regular and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal management.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trade and related sectors.
* Maintain detailed records and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
* Use CRM tools to record daily activities and support data-driven decision-making.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant compliance requirements.
* Execute additional tasks as required by management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in account management and strategic account development (preferably within FMCG, Health & Beauty sectors).
* Demonstrated success in driving sales growth through strategic execution.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and their application in account management.
* Solid understanding of industry trends and client needs.
* Competency in analysing sales data, ROI, and promotional evaluations.
* Background in B2B sales, particularly within similar sectors, is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret sales metrics and develop actionable insights.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and impactful presentations.
* Excellent time management and self-organisation to achieve KPIs.
* Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, up to the director level.
* Adept at coaching team members to improve their professional skills.
