Purpose of the Job:
To lead and manage the harmonisation and integration of the Glasgow office. This pivotal role will be the go-to person for all operational, facilities, local recruitment, onboarding, and training requests. They will also be responsible for local process alignment.
Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Private Wealth Operations Manager, this senior position has been created to lead the successful integration and harmonisation of teams in the growing Glasgow Partnership office.
The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of running and managing the office day-to-day, facilitating a positive working environment for existing and new staff and Partners. They will line manage the reception and central administration team and ensure workflow is optimised between Partners and support teams.
The role holder will be highly organised, with a desire to deliver a first-class service, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* The role holder will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Partnership office and will be the trusted point of contact for colleagues.
* Working closely with other senior managers and supporting the strategic imperatives, they will be responsible for facilitating team cohesion across the different practices and teams within the partnership office in the most appropriate ways to support the Glasgow engagement and revenue targets.
* Lead and line manage the administration teams with dotted line responsibility for paraplanning.
* Ensure workflow is optimised between teams.
* Manage resourcing, development, recruitment, and the onboarding of new members of staff and Partners into the office.
* Deliver or arrange training as required to enable each member of the office to be able to fulfil their role effectively.
* Responsible for ensuring a first-class service is delivered to clients, Partners, and colleagues.
* Adherence to central processes and recommending and driving efficiencies, where appropriate.
