About The Role

As part of the global People & Talent Team, this exciting and varied role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the talent development strategy at GBG. Reporting to the Director of Talent Development, you will support the development and execution of initiatives that drive a best-in-class employee experience, ensuring our people have the skills, knowledge, and capabilities to thrive.
Key responsibilities
* Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent development programs aligned with business needs.
* Partner with key stakeholders across the business to ensure learning and development initiatives support strategic objectives.
* Support the People team to evolve the onboarding experience to ensure new hires integrate effectively and efficiently into GBG.
* Drive the adoption and engagement of our 'digital first' learning platform (be/developed Cornerstone) to enhance learning experiences.
* Support the continuous evolution and embedding of our new performance management approach.
* Provide guidance, tools, and training to line managers to enhance leadership capability and team performance.
* Identify core skill gaps within the business and recommend scalable and simplified development solutions.
* Support the implementation of skills frameworks across the business, ensuring alignment of our development programmes.
* Act as a subject matter expert, keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent development and learning.
* Lead the relationship with key third-party learning solution providers to ensure value for money and optimisation, specifically QA Learning and Udemy.
* Work closely with the People team to leverage reporting on training activity to ensure breadth of coverage, maximum impact, and learning evaluation.
The skills we're looking for
Talent Development & Learning
* Experience in talent development, learning & development, or related HR disciplines, ideally within a fast-paced, global environment.
* Good learning design experience with knowledge of adult learning theory and a concern for end-user experience (alternate delivery channels e.g. digital, hybrid and mobile desirable).
* Specific experience in the design and delivery of leadership and management programmes.
* Skilled facilitator with a proven track record in delivering successful blended learning solutions.
Digital Expertise
* Experience working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone experience advantageous).
* Strong digital expertise, leveraging technology and AI to create and enhance learning and development materials.
Project Management
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach.
* A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for developing people and improving processes.
Facilitation & Presentation
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse global audiences.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across different teams and functions.
* A flexible approach to working may occasionally be required to support our teams across multiple time zones.
Additional Qualifications
* Qualification or accreditation in a related field such as CIPD, TAP or LPI.
* Accredited in Psychometric testing desirable but not essential (SHL advantageous).
