This permanent role based in Southampton involves global delivery and requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and take ownership of allocated tasks or projects following sign-off.
Plan procurement of resources, materials, and labour with approval from the Head of Projects.
Maintain professional and consistent communication with the client.
Lead project meetings, from startup to close down, including regular and ad-hoc site meetings.
Monitor project performance according to the specification, budget, and timeline.
Produce and provide regular project and financial reports to stakeholders.
Review labour and resource levels on site and recommend necessary adjustments.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to on nominated sites.
Take full responsibility for the delivery of small projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
Produce high-level and detailed project plans for pre-delivery and on-site delivery activities.
Job Requirements:
Experience in project management, particularly within the marine sectors such as Cruise, Ferry, Defence, and Superyacht but open to other industries and roles such as consutruction/housing and site management
Proficiency in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Project).
