Job Advert The role… Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a Test Analyst to join the talented development team in our vehicle telematics business, Radius Telematics. It is manual testing role, where you will get to utilise your experience of various testing techniques throughout the software lifecycle for both customer facing and internally facing applications. Telematics is a big growth area for the business, so there will be plenty of opportunity to keep your skills up to date and progress your career. Please note that this role is based 5 days per week in our telematics head office in Crewe, Cheshire. Your Responsibilities Will Include… Work with our Delivery Managers and Developers to understand projects, to create and verify test plans, to produce test estimates, to schedule and execute all testing activities. Mentor and organise tasks for junior team members. Analyse complex information and write concise, high-quality test cases. Provide accurate estimates to complete test activities. Maintain and execute manual test scripts and regression packs. Record and track all bugs in JIRA and manage through to resolution. Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes. What do we expect of you? You will bring proven commercial testing experience in a software-focussed organisation. This Should Include Strong communication skills, with the ability to create comprehensive test documentation. Practical experience in manual testing, including UI testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, and API testing. Experience working on both mobile and web-based applications. Experience of working in an Agile environment, actively contributing during stand-ups and driving quality standards through the use of modern QA techniques Knowledge of software development lifecycles and methodologies Desirable Skills Include Integration testing (APIs) Web-related technologies Defect management tools ISTQB Foundation certificate What can you expect of us?
