We're looking for a permanent part-time Customer Care Advisor to join our lovely Bromsgrove team. The practice is a busy small animal clinic with a large team of vets, RVNs, and client care advisors. Experience in a similar role or veterinary practice is preferred but not essential as our supportive team will provide you with all necessary training.
The role will involve:
1. Being the first line of contact for clients and their pets both face to face and over the phone.
2. Relay accurately & act in a timely manner all messages taken.
3. Act in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
4. Welcoming and registering clients on arrival.
5. Booking appointments.
6. Dispensing medicines as directed by the vet.
7. Taking payments and cashing up.
8. End to end debt management may be required.
9. Insurance claims handling.
About the rota
The rota is as follows:
1. Monday 8:00-15:30
2. Tuesday 12:00-19:00
3. Wednesday 12:00-19:00
4. Thursday 8:00-15:00
5. Friday 8:00-16:00
There will be a 1:6 weekend rota (alternating between Saturday 9-1pm and Sunday 10-1pm). Weekends are paid overtime or can be taken back as TOIL.
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, friendly, and will offer gold standard customer service. You must have strong IT skills, phone call handling, and client interaction experience. A full driving license is required as you may be asked to cover another practice. You must have excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.

We have 2 certificate holders in small animal medicine and surgery, with another working towards a feline medicine certificate.
