The shift pattern is Monday – Friday 0730-1530 Experienced and motivated admin / rota manager required for Older People and Stroke Services. This job will include collation of junior doctor rota, waiting list management, administration management and assisting senior management with reports. Applicants should have good Microsoft package knowledge, preferable previous supervisory experience and able to manage a demanding workload. The post holder will manage any day to day and ongoing operational and staffing issues for the administration and secretarial staff within the Older People service. The post holder is responsible for supporting day-to-day management of the Junior Medical Staff Rotas. In this respect the post holder will be required to liaise with all members of the clinical team, management team and the Clinical Service Manager. The post holder will act as the focal point of contact for Medical staff in relation to Junior Medical rota enquiries. The post holder will have direct management of designated Speciality Waiting Lists and Waiting Times, ensuring compliance with Treatment Time Guarantees (TTG) and Waiting Time targets. They will take a pro-active lead role in Administration/Waiting List Training, management of admin/clerical staff to ensure compliance with waiting list procedures, in line with ‘New Ways’ procedures and the Patients’ Rights Act. Responsibility for managing clinic & theatre capacity to ensure that clinical priorities and waiting time targets are met, through effective use of available resources.
