We are excited to be able to offer the great opportunity to join the small, busy, friendly Highway Maintenance admin team based at Annie Reed Road, Beverley.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, work well as part of a team, communicate effectively and provide excellent customer care. Good IT skills and attention to details are essential.
Led by the Streetscene Hub Technical Assistant, the team:
1. Process payroll information for highway maintenance staff including liaising with supervisors/managers/payroll department.
2. Deal with requests for service from internal and external customers to a number of generic email accounts and by phone, logging on and updating the works management system.
3. Assess the urgency of all logged reports liaising with the relevant highway engineers over any urgent reports for example involving deep potholes, flooding or accidents.
4. Raise and issue orders to suppliers and processing their subsequent invoices.
5. Assess and respond to conveyancing searches from a highways perspective.
6. Distribute any mail.
