JN Technical are recruiting an experienced HSE Manager on behalf of a national construction contractor. In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs in line with legal and company requirements. This position aims to minimise risks to employees, the company, and the environment in both manufacturing and construction operations. The HSE Manager works collaboratively across departments to promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and compliance with occupational and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HSE Program Development:
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with legal and regulatory standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for both manufacturing and construction activities.
* Lead the development of safety training programs and ensure employees are properly trained on HSE policies and procedures.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
3. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Maintain necessary documentation and records to demonstrate compliance during audits and inspections.
