HV Engineer required for our client, a leading energy company. The HV Engineer will be required to work on Asset replacement on existing private networks, changing to more energy efficient, cable installation works, adding to HV networks, battery storage sites, solar sites and the grid connections. The HV Engineer oversees maintenance, repairs, and project execution on client network sites while providing senior authorized personnel (SAP) support for large-scale construction initiatives in collaboration with the project team. The role will be 85/90% on site, with some office work required on slower days. You will need to be based in a commutable distance between Midlands and Northampton. They will support major project planning, minimising electrical risks and optimising network construction. The role requires strong HSQE leadership, maintaining Senior Authorised Person status, participating in standby rotas, and providing fault response. Additionally, the engineer will assist with tenders through site surveys, pricing, and scope writing within set timelines.
