You are a Territory Manager! You will own and operate within an area which will have multiple different retail outlets, some of which you will visit regularly, some less so depending on our client mix and priorities. This is an exciting and unique full-time role offering a wide scope of task and benefits.
As a Territory Manager, you'll be working in supermarkets and high street stores across London (predominately Zones 1 and 2) which vary from Poundland to Peter Jones. You'll become an extension of some exciting brands such as L'Oreal, Maybelline, Red Bull and many more. You will also work on category specific projects such as Beauty, Gift Cards, Fashion & Entertainment in retailers like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, John Lewis and many more!
You'll be part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on a variety of interesting tasks including setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels and replenishing fixtures. The role also includes secondary tasks providing crucial support to the wider business functions through project work, test/client calls, training and recruitment as required. You will often find each day can be very different, but it will certainly be rewarding!
Role Information:
Hours: 37.5 per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work by arrangement.
How you'll deliver excellence:
1. Cover visits across the London area as required, on specific days and times (Travel card provided)
2. Schedule and manage own callage (tasks) in line with SLAs, business priority and agreement with your Regional Field Manager
3. Utilising client briefs, merchandise products within stores in the set timeframe.
4. Ensure the store's displays fulfil the client briefs, and if relevant, government legislation.
5. Successfully and independently implement planograms.
6. Implement and site point of sale (POS) and free-standing display units (FDSUs).
7. Provide brief but accurate written feedback and clear and high-quality photographs for each task.
8. Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
9. Maintain good health and safety practices, as prescribed by the company or retail outlet.
10. Support project teams with key tasks such as test calls and photographing specific categories to support new business.
11. Support with projects such as working with the recruitment team during our peak periods.
What makes you excellent:
12. Understanding of London geography and how to travel efficiently within Central London is essential.
13. Proven merchandising experience ideal; or transferable skills within a retail or customer / client facing role.
14. Demonstrate that you can engage confidently and professionally with a variety of people, including customers shopping in store, retail staff, client teams and senior management.
15. Good health and safety practices including fire safety and manual handling are preferred but full training will be provided.
16. IT literate and comfortable with technology; able to use a variety of mobile applications.
17. Self-motivated, confident working independently and comfortable using own initiative to find solutions.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
19. Organised with excellent time management.
20. Good negotiation and influencing skills, particularly with instore colleagues and store management.
