You will be required to provide a specification of general repair works, mould and damp works, following the schedule of rates, raising and reviewing asbestos reports, arranging removals as required to ensure that a Council property will be repaired to the agreed Lettable Standard. You will assist in maintaining and ensuring our properties are compliant and ready for tenants. You will be required to successfully manage projects and work with a lead surveyor and contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard. You will work with colleagues across the Housing Service to ensure our properties meet the current lettable Standard and repaired within the agreed timescales and budget provisions. The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets. Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK.
