Together we are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the Finance & Administration Team based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and efficient individual, that likes to take ownership of their work.
Salary: £24,000 p/a
Hours: 36.25 per week
Holidays: 33 days, including bank holidays
Other benefits: Company Pension, Private Medical Cover (including dependants with 50% company contributions)
What we are looking for in an Accounts Payable Assistant:
* High attention to detail.
* Innovative and creative approach.
* Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge.
* IT Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.
* Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills.
* Work as part of a small, dedicated team.
* Finance software knowledge.
* Accounts experience.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant include, but are not limited to:
* Responsible for company mail & distributing within the business.
* Filing, limited reception duties, registering visitors on arrival and signing for deliveries.
* Marrying up transactions in the bank and processing the mixed payments.
* Employee expenses & petty cash claims.
* Entering suppliers' invoices onto the Purchase Ledger.
* Reconciling Purchase Ledger statements.
* Monitoring stock accounts.
* Answering incoming emails and calls from suppliers.
* Assisting with any other purchase ledger tasks as required.
