Primary role:
To support the Senior Management Accountant and contribute to the day-to-day activities of the business and any other job-related tasks. To provide and process information accurately and meet demands/deadlines of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices.
2. Chase and deal with any queries relating to PO’s and GRN’s.
3. Assist in the processing of expenses, credit cards, and deal with any queries.
4. Support the Finance Manager and the team with Accounts related queries.
5. Telephone accounts primarily / reception secondarily.
6. Assist and maintain the accounts filing system.
7. Responsible for reconciliation of supplier statements.
8. Responsible for the setup of new suppliers.
9. Assist in preparation of the payment run.
10. Carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks.
Essential Characteristics:

4. Organised, logical with a methodical approach.
5. Flexible and willing to learn.
6. Good IT skills.
Desirable Characteristics:
1. Some numeracy and accounting skills.
2. Experience in working with accounting packages.
3. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
4. Working towards or aspire to attain an accounts qualification i.e., AAT.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: From £6.40 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
