TrueNorth are exclusively working with a new client who are looking for a Data / Systems Analyst to join the team at an exciting time of growth for the organisation.
We're looking for someone that can ensure multiple and ongoing integrations and integration activity is performing as it should be, raise any issues as they are discovered and seek to solve them. In the longer term we would hope that the right candidate for the role would be able to make the role as proactive as possible (over reactive).
Key responsibilities include:
* Review financial data for potential errors or discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
* Validate and update Python scripts used in financial data automation, working with the Finance team to ensure seamless execution and deployment.
* Identify and resolve issues related to data synchronisation, such as date mismatches or missing identifiers, to support effective reporting and analysis.
* Support the operation of RPA tools for financial record creation, client reminders, and data extraction.
* Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into financial data, record statuses, and system performance.
* Work closely with the Business Analytics Manager to ensure that data management aligns with business objectives and performance goals.
Key skills / experience required:
* 1-2 years minimum in a Data and System Analyst role previously
* Basic programming experience, in Python or similar scripting languages, with an ability to troubleshoot and update existing code (commercial experience would be great)
* Being proactive and autonomous in your style of work
* Natural problem solving ability
* Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Beneficial but not essential:
* Airtable or similar experience
* Power BI for visualising data and reporting
* RPA tools
* Finance or accounting domain experience
The role can be based from either Newcastle or Milton Keynes offices, with a hybrid work pattern 2 day in office per week.
We have a starting salary of around £50k depending on experience, plus benefits.
