Deputy Manager | Epsom | £31,000
Join a leading provider of residential care services for adults with learning disabilities. The 4 bed service is currently undergoing and is going to look mega on completion.
Responsibilities:
Set the tone and culture of the service, promoting a person-centered approach and ensuring the well-being of our residents
Manage a team of 8-10 staff, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure they deliver exceptional care and maintain a positive working environment
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, including managing budgets, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure the service meets regulatory standards and continuously improves
Develop and implement individual care plans for each resident, ensuring their needs and preferences are met
Act as a point of contact for any concerns or complaints, addressing them promptly and effectively
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance the service and achieve business goals
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role in a similar setting, preferably with experience in learning disabilities
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
Knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in maintaining compliance
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable
