Hales Group are thrilled to be working with our client who are seeking a HR Advisor to join them on a Fixed-Term Contract until the 30th April 2026. You will provide expert advice and guidance to all stakeholders on a variety of employment-related matters, ensuring effective support for both managers and employees.
Duties will include:
• Support employees throughout their journey with the company, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Help managers build their confidence and skills in staff management through coaching and practical guidance.
• Offer clear, practical HR advice to reduce risks and financial impact on the business.
• Build strong relationships with managers, providing support and challenge to improve people management practices.
• Promote a positive workplace culture by encouraging collaboration between staff, managers, and unions.
• Provide workforce data and help managers understand and use it to drive meaningful improvements.
• Support managers with casework, helping them navigate risks effectively.
• Contribute to HR projects that support the company’s goals and long-term vision.
• Deliver training focused on people management and development for both managers and staff.
• Work closely with Management to ensure effective workforce planning.
Experience and skills
• CIPD Level 5 qualification, or currently studying.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• 2 years’ experience of providing HR advice.
• Experience of coaching and advising management.
• Evidence of successful delivery of projects.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own work load.
Lowestoft
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30-4:30pm
Fixed-Term Contract until 30th April 2026
Up to £33,660 Per Annum
