The Global QA Team at our Fulfilment Centres are a key component in the continuing success at asos.com. They are the final point to ensure our products are the best quality they can possibly be, and that customers get great value for money. This role will be supporting the QA Lead in accreditation / QC in the coordination and management of all processes and working activities related to Quality Assurance and systems enhancement, while delivering proactive operational work. Based in Barnsley, this role will also undertake regular travel (c. every 2 months) to our global fulfilment centres to carry out AQL inspections, including Morocco and Pakistan. What you’ll be doing… Taking a pro-active role in setting the standard of quality assurance of ASOS products to manage the delivery of consistently high-quality products globally, overseeing ASOS off-shore Quality Control Centres. Deliver training QA module training to global suppliers, QCC centres to product shipped to our customers meet ASOS technical, quality and compliance quality standards Support the monitoring of customer complaints and queries raised by the technical team to carry out quality checks on products as needed. Support technical team and leads regarding supplier corrective action plan, when failed inspections in order to build capabilities in the supplier base and improve quality. Drive continuous improvement on efficiency and quality check processes and technologies whilst ensuring the highest level of quality and deliver cost savings. Conduct AQL inspections on stock when required. Constantly update all relevant ASOS systems and undertake reporting, as required, in order to have clarity within the tasks. Provide technical expertise to GXO in order to achieve a successful outcome when dealing with a technical and quality issue. Reprocess work analysis to ensure efficiency, accuracy and speed to market. Support ongoing QA and technical project as and when required Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies Qualifications Knowledge of QA management systems and standards Experience and knowledge of working with a fast-paced global clothing retailer The ability to work with 3rd party providers i.e. consolidators or processors, to work to standards of best practice. The ability to quality problem-solve and identify effective solutions, their impact and quickly drive a suitable solution. Demonstratable experience delivery of cost savings, at pace Able to travel globally Ability to make decisions on AQL inspection on stock Excellent communicator on policies and procedures, particularly to external partners where English may not be their first language.
