Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer Band: 7 Location: Worthing Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £30.00 - £231.00 Shift: 3x 12-hour shifts (08:00 – 20:00), Monday to Sunday About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer to join a leading healthcare team in Worthing. This role offers flexible shift patterns, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI scanning experience, be confident in working independently, and uphold the highest patient care and imaging standards. Responsibilities: As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Key duties include positioning patients correctly, adjusting scanning parameters as needed, operating MRI equipment efficiently, and maintaining accurate imaging records. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the imaging department. Requirements: BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council). Extensive MRI scanning experience, preferably at a senior level. Proficiency in using Siemens, Philips, or GE MRI scanners (preferred but not essential). Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
