About the role
As the Operations Manager for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd, you will drive performance through engagement within an operational environment. You will be able to deal with the pressure of a “front line” role whilst working hand in hand with the customer, fully understanding their needs.
You will own the site “P&L” and drive the delivery of the budget as well as continually improving our performance delivery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Responsible for Depot upkeep and maintaining the Depot to Company standards.
* Ensure all client contracts are met in full, and strategically developed.
* Overall responsibility for warehouse functions.
* Complete responsibility for all service delivery, associated costs, and personnel.
* Full responsibility for depot stock take performance.
* Manage all teams within the operation, including approximately 60 employees: Driver Technicians, Service Engineers, Customer Services, Warehouse team, and Cleaning/Decontamination team.
* Oversee customer services teams and KPIs associated with order targets.
* Daily management of automated invoice process to identify shortfalls.
* Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions.
* Maximise profitable growth through good cost control and efficient use of the company’s assets.
* Ensure the Company philosophy of world-class customer service is delivered by all employees.
* Be proficient in all employee relations matters and processes related to disciplinary actions up to and including dismissals.
* Recruit and select for identified and business agreed vacancies.
* Train, assign, schedule, coach, and counsel employees.
* Maintain health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards.

Qualifications and experience required:
* Minimum of 1 year in a public, healthcare, or service-based industry is desirable.
* Experienced Operational Leader.
* Driving License is essential.
