Bede's Trust requires an organised and proactive individual to join the Estates Department as a Facilities Operative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the security and gatekeeping for Facilities and Estates. To work as part of a flexible team of porterage staff involved in the day-to-day delivery of the caretaking and porterage service at the Senior School, in order to ensure the delivery of a first class service for the main school and assisting the prep school as and when required.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work collaboratively as part of a welcoming team; having previous experience of working in a school or similar environment is highly desirable.
It is an essential part of the role to have physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with the hours of 07:30 - 16:30 with an unpaid 1 hour break per day.
The role will be split between our Senior School in Upper Dicker with travel to our Prep School in Eastbourne when required.
