Description J.P. Morgan is seeking a creative and strategic mind to lead our social media presence across EMEA. This position is based in London and will report to the global head of social media. As the Social Media Marketing and Communications Manager in JP Morgan you'll be the voice behind our brand, crafting engaging content, managing campaigns, and driving our social media strategy to new heights. We're looking for an experience social media marketer and communicator with sound judgment to captivate our audience, build meaningful connections, and showcase our expertise in the ever-evolving world of finance. This role requires close work with stakeholders across the firm's wholesale businesses to produce written and visual content, monitor firm-owned social media channels, escalate reputational issues, and report on social media analytics. This role will also manage one social media team member. Job responsibilities Establish a strategic approach to social media content that aligns with the global J.P. Morgan brand, but is adapted to the regional business needs, culture, trends and social platforms Write copy and create visual content in brand voice across platforms Collaborate with legal, compliance, and controls to mitigate risk and ensure proper governance Maintain an ongoing dialogue with various internal stakeholders to effectively communicate the firm’s business and cultural messages Collaborate with social media team to manage editorial content calendars Support the J.P. Morgan CIB Marketing and Communications team in community management Understand social media metrics in order to track results and provide recommendations Effectively communicate on project timeline, status and results Act as eyes and ears on social platforms, alerting team members to breaking news as necessary Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Strong knowledge of social media landscape and trends across EMEA Experience managing editorial calendars across various social platforms Proven ability to exercise sensible reasoning in a fast-paced environment Experience with social media monitoring and management tools for social listening, publishing, and reporting. (i.e. Sprinklr, Hearsay, Zignal, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) Passion for social media, PR and digital marketing Confidence to pitch fresh ideas, think creatively, and identify and solve problems Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe creative suite Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across divisions and lines of business Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Previous financial services industry experience preferred Previous management experience strongly preferred Should you be considered for this role, applicants will be asked to provide writing and design samples.
