Job summary Tamworth House Medical Centre is looking for a longterm locum GP to work 5-6 sessions, days to be agreed. We are a friendly, welcoming and innovative GP Practice in South West London delivering care to over 9,800 patients, achieving high QOF performance and maintaining a Good CQC rated service. Start Date - March 2025 Main duties of the job As a locum GP, you will support the four GP partners to manage a busy, interesting clinical caseload ensuring the highest standard of care for all registered and temporary patients. The post-holder will have the opportunity to lead on a key disease area and assist in developing services for our patient list. The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines. About us Tamworth House medical Centre is a general practice in East Merton providing NHS primary care services to over 9,800 patients. We have a well-established team of 4 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and a HCA. We are a training practice with medical students, nursing students, GP registrars and foundation Year 2 Doctors. Tamworth House medical centre is an active member of the East Merton Primary Care Network (EMPCN) and is involved in new projects to change the delivery of Primary Care. We have recruited prescribing pharmacists, paramedics, physician associates, Care Coordinator, and Health and Wellbeing Coach to expand the care we provide to our patients.
