Expression of Interest: Medical Photographer
We are seeking expressions of interest from Medical Photographers in the Staffordshire area to join our newly launched service.
The Contractor role of Medical Photographer will be responsible for the recording, provision, and reviewing of high-quality clinical images of patients' skin conditions using specialised photography techniques and equipment. You should have extensive knowledge of dermoscopy and the use of polarised and non-polarised light to visualise features of the skin that are not visible to the naked eye.
Medical Photographers enable our Dermatologists to provide quicker advice on diagnosis and management than waiting to be seen face to face. You will work closely with our Dermatologists to ensure precise documentation of patient cases and treatment outcomes.
This role is on a Contractor arrangement either on an individual self-employed basis or working via your own personal services company, enabling you to work privately to supplement NHS and/or private income and at the same time, be part of a team working to support transformation in the NHS.
The role offers the opportunity to work one day a week at a GP surgery in Staffordshire (currently in Uttoxeter, with additional locations to be added as the service expands), alongside flexible remote work options.
