What you’ll be doing: We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer who has a desire to learn and thrive on challenge, to join one of our product engineering teams at r2c - one of our fleet management businesses on a full-time, permanent basis. r2c are a UK based business which support the management of logistics fleets and workshops through a community based platform. You’ll be working with the latest technology, both with local and global teams, in a people orientated environment which is ultimately focused on delivering customer value, where you will play a key role in helping to minimise the risk of software releases and help drive down cycle-time in our sprint teams. We work in partnership with the business to implement awesome products, using technologies such as: Flutter, React JS, ASP.NET and .Net Core, SQL Server, Mulesoft, Azure and we’re also starting our journey into serverless through AWS starting to decompose some of our existing technology as a first stage in re-architecting. You will collaborate closely with other Software Engineers and Designers across multiple platforms and technologies to craft a beautiful application ecosystem that is consistent, highly useable, and reliable and performant. You will also be a part of our local communities of practice to help identify new technologies which could be used to help us gain a competitive advantage in the dynamic payments industry. This role will be permanently based in our Sheffield office. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a talented developer to join us on a fantastic journey and help us to build great applications and services across the r2c product ecosystem. You will be collaborative, sharing key findings with colleagues and great stories of exceptional customer service.
