Nursery Teacher Oldham OL4 31650 - £43.606 per annum (pro-rata basis) (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications, hours) April 2025 – July 25 The School and Role At our vibrant and nurturing Nursery, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team of highly skilled staff. Our provision is well-resourced and designed to help children thrive and be fully prepared for their transition into Reception and beyond. You would be expected to plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities to support children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical growth, while encouraging social interaction and basic life skills. As a nursery teacher, you would manage classroom behaviour, ensure safety, and maintain regular communication with parents or guardians about each child's progress. You would also be expected to work collaboratively with other staff members, maintain a clean and organized space, and stay updated on early childhood education practices to provide the best care and learning experience for young children. Requirements To be considered for the role as a Nursery Primary Teacher, you will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and experience in Nursery as a Teache A Nurturing Environment and help children develop and encourage them to learn at their own pace. Strong Foundation for the Early Years curriculum. Support a curriculum that is designed to build a strong foundation in the early years, ensuring that children are confident and well-prepared for more formal learning in Reception. Foster strong parent relationships. Promote this through all areas of learning both inside and outside. No holidays during the period April 22 – July 18th during Term Time.
