ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT PERMANENT £14.00/£14.50 PER HOUR Our client, who have been established for over 50 years and are a UK manufacturing company are seeking an Accounts Assistant to joint their friendly team of 2 in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Your key responsibilities will include: * Assisting with raising purchase orders on Sage 50 Professionals, can be up to 30 a month * Emailing orders to suppliers and chasing order acknowledgements by telephone * Receiving delivery notes when stock arrives and matching to original PO's, entering onto Sage 50 Professional and matching to purchase invoices * Processing purchase invoices for goods/utilities and expenses on Sage 50 * Requesting replacement products and credits from suppliers where necessary * Preparing payment runs and sending out supplier statements * Answering incoming calls from customers/suppliers and trying to assist with queries or transferring to the sales team * Using an Excel spreadsheet to track orders due to go out to customers * Emailing the contractors when orders are ready for collection and booking in with the courier company * Processing non-conformance forms for the warehouse
