About the Role
Based in the Barossa Valley and reporting to the Executive Director – People, you will work closely with business leaders to drive and embed collaborative people strategies and practices that enhance organisational performance and culture. This is a pivotal role, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on support to enable our leaders and teams to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with leaders on organisational design and workforce planning, aligning structures and roles that support collaborative, effective and efficient work design.
* Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, providing expert, timely and practical guidance on enterprise agreements, legislative requirements, and fostering proactive, positive employee interactions.
* Work closely with leaders to support performance development, addressing root causes of all people issues and guiding a constructive approach to employee development.
* Facilitate cyclical performance, development and remuneration reviews with a focus on high performance, transparency and equity, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
* Drive initiatives that enhance engagement and inclusion across teams, helping to build a positive, collaborative workplace where every voice is valued.
* Advocate for health and wellbeing, working with managers to build a culture of safety, and support initiatives that foster a healthy work environment.
About You
You bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to HR, with extensive experience in partnering across teams to deliver effective people strategies. Your background in HR management roles has equipped you with a strong grasp of organisational design, employee relations, and change management.
You will need highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills in order to liaise, consult, negotiate and influence a wide range of people at all levels within a complex organisation.
With proven experience in the development of submissions / proposals to senior leaders, you approach challenges with sound judgment, integrity, and a focus on continuous improvement. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline or equivalent is essential.
Experience within the Wine Industry, FMCG or Agriculture will be highly regarded.
