* Thursday & Friday - 06.00am - 14.00pm - 15 hours
* Monday to Friday - 17.00pm - 20.00pm - 15 hours

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of support service assistants to ensure high-quality standards are met.
* Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and efficient resource utilisation.
* Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional development.
Job responsibilities
* Delivering the Service - on a daily basis Supervisors will be required to identify and respond to user needs and to solve problems/complaints as and when they arise.
* To train, monitor and supervise facilities staff in all the elements of their role.
* Supervisors are required to work with staff teams and to carry out domestic and housekeeping duties to cover the needs of the service.
* A Supervisor will be required to have the knowledge and technical ability to be able to undertake and teach staff the skills necessary to complete service delivery.
* Support the Trust's Health and Safety Policy ensuring staff are trained to ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and patients within their area of work.
* Monitor areas of responsibility to ensure service standards are consistently delivered in line with National Cleaning Standards.
* Monitoring of catering services at ward level to ensure compliance with the Trust's food safety documentation and current food safety legislation.
* Actively support the reduction in food wastage.
* To support the Team Leaders in ensuring equipment used to deliver the service is of the standard required and is maintained to physical and technical standards.
* To inform Team Leaders of the ordering requirements to maintain sufficient stock levels to deliver the service.
* Undertake initial investigation and reporting of untoward incidents and accidents.
* Completion and returning of Absence Monitoring forms.
* Will be required to take responsibility for ensuring that return to work interviews are completed in a timely manner.
* Checking and countersigning clock cards on a weekly basis in preparation for data entry to the payroll database.
* Management of annual leave requests in a timely manner.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of education in English and Maths.
* Level 3 Food Safety Certificate, IOSH Supervising Safely, ILM 2 Supervisory Studies.
Experience
* Previous Supervisory experience.
* Experience of working within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge and Awareness
* Knowledge of administrative duties, including basic MS Office suite or similar.
* Understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality.
* Awareness of the Health and Safety and Moving and Handling requirements in the workplace.
Skills & Abilities
* Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships. Willingness to participate in continuous personal development as required for the role.
£24,071 to £25,674 a year pro-rated for part-time.
