IT Change Project Manager opportunity has arisen for an established organisation within the fleet services industry. This is an exciting chance to join a start-up environment as part of a larger organisation with great growth opportunities.
As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple small workstreams / IT projects, as well as the change (impact assessments, business readiness).
You will need to be on site at least 3 days/week in Wiltshire (UK), and will report into the PMO where there are 3 other less traditional, project managers.
This position requires a proactive individual who can grasp things quickly, have an interest to learn, define and manage plans, coordinate stakeholders, and effectively handle change and readiness challenges.
As the IT Change Project Manager you will:
* Manage multiple small projects, quickly grasping & adapting to changing needs
* Define and manage project plans, engaging stakeholders to execute plans effectively
* Coordinate stakeholders unfamiliar with projects, guiding them through the right governance and delivery processes
* Carry out change impact assessments and business readiness plans as part of managing change across projects.
* Report to the PMO, supporting the establishment of a robust project management framework
* Proactively identify and address pain points, ensuring smooth project execution
* Demonstrate initiative and curiosity, quickly learning about the fleet industry to drive success
Requirements
* Core project management skills with a disciplined yet flexible approach
* Proven ability to bring stakeholders together and establish organised governance processes
* Experience of conducting change impact and business readiness assessments
* Understanding and appreciation of technology and the IT landscape
* Managing plans to address gaps and communicating progress to key stakeholders.
* Confident in implementing processes and frameworks, with a mature and proactive mindset
* Strong communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate teams
* Curiosity and willingness to learn about the fleet industry at pace
* Experience with traditional project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2)
