Category Marketing Managers certainly need to know every detail of the product category which sounds obvious but it's the market and consumer trends, the competition and understanding how to be one step ahead to make the most of future opportunities from your consumer insight skills. What does the retailer need to give them the edge and drive market share, make the category stand out for them amongst the ever-increasing competition from rival food manufacturers and the other retailers.
This role will see you working with own label products and well-known brands in a team who are based all over the UK. You will have the flexibility to work from home with some visits to site but due to the number of visits to site it's more of a remote role with less than 20 site visits per year.
