Working closely with third-party payroll bureaus, HR, Finance, and the People Management Team, you help maintain compliance with international tax and payroll regulations. Your meticulous attention to detail and reliability contribute to smooth payroll operations, supporting the financial integrity of our organization. By ensuring that employees are paid correctly and on time, you help create a seamless employee experience that fosters trust and satisfaction across the company. Your tasks in a nutshell: Payroll Management: Assist in preparing and processing end-to-end payroll for all employees in the UK, ROI, USA, and Singapore, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local payroll laws and regulations (e.g., HMRC, PAYE, NIC). Maintain accurate payroll records and support year-end processes, including statutory filings such as P60s and P11Ds. Employee Data Administration: Enter, verify, and update employee payroll data (e.g., hours worked, salary adjustments, deductions) and collaborate with the local HR function to ensure accurate and up-to-date company structure and employee information in the corporate Workday system. Employee Queries: Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries professionally and in a timely manner. Benefits and Pension Administration: Support pension scheme contributions and assist with benefit deductions, ensuring correct processing. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, support automation projects, and improve efficiency through system enhancements and collaboration with key stakeholders. What helps you to fulfil this role: Qualifications: GCSEs, A-levels, or a college qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or an equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential. Payroll Expertise: Solid professional experience in payroll, ideally with end-to-end payroll processing. A background in finance or administrative roles with a strong payroll focus is also valuable, especially if you have managed complex payroll structures across multiple countries. Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience with payroll legislation and tax regulations in the UK; experience with payroll in the USA or other countries is a plus. HR Systems Proficiency: Strong experience using HR software, ideally with Workday. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to support data management and analysis.
