We have a key engineering client looking for a HR Administrator on a 12-month fixed term basis based in Sandiacre, Derbyshire.
As a HR Administrator, you will work Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 15:45, and have a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience.
As a HR Administrator, you will support management on payroll and other administrative aspects of HR in addition to employment legislation.
Duties of an HR Administrator
1. Manage the authorisation of employee time and attendance bookings on Microsoft AX.
2. Send payroll queries and chase a response from internal stakeholders (Production Managers, Supervisors, and/or Team Leaders).
3. Carry out administration of annual leave bookings for shop floor staff.
4. Manage shift data, shift rotation, and new employee setup on Microsoft AX.
5. Ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process is followed.
6. Update and maintain the various HR database systems, including the production of reports, KPIs, and other statistics as and when required.
7. Undertake timely and effective administration of HR & Training documentation, including input to the various HR database systems.
8. Assist in the provision of allocating training and development needs, including refresher training.
9. Ensure data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements.
10. Travel to other sites within the UK when necessary; some travel will be out of office hours.
11. Out-of-hours working required to meet demand.
Requirements of an HR Administrator
1. Previous experience of working in a HR Payroll position.
2. CIPD qualified or working towards achieving (beneficial).
3. Knowledge of UK employment law.
4. Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Good interpersonal skills.
6. Working knowledge of HR databases.
7. Good literacy and numeracy skills.
8. Full clean driving licence.
