Job Advertisement: Lecturer in Construction Design Management (CDM) Position: Lecturer in Construction Design Management (CDM) Location: Romford Course: L3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment Schedule: 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) Duration: End of the Academic Year Role Overview: Protocol are working with an FE ccollege who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer in Construction Design Management (CDM) to join their team in Romford. This role involves teaching the L3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment, a Gold Standard offering for students aged 16-18, which has now been replaced by the T-Level in Construction Design Management. The successful candidate will provide coverage for 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) to guide 7 students to the conclusion of their studies this summer. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Construction Design Management. Support and mentor students to achieve their academic goals and successfully complete the course. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and industry standards. Promote and adhere to the college’s policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications in Construction Design Management or a related field. Experience in teaching or lecturing at the Further Education level. Strong knowledge of the L3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to continuous professional development.
