Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and dynamic business located in Andover who are seeking an Assistant Accountant.
This is an exciting opportunity to be supporting the Financial Controller with a new system implementation whilst maintaining the management accounts for the business.
Key duties of the role will include:
* Preparation of management accounts
* Business partnering
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Producing financial reports for senior management
* Cost and variance analysis
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Fixed assets
* D365 implementation
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:
* Relevant accounting qualifications or qualified by experience
* Experience in a similar role
* Strong management accounts knowledge
* D365 knowledge (desirable)
* Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to help others where possible and work independently
The company offers flexible hybrid working and a 35-hour working week. This will initially be on a contract basis with the possibility of extension.
