Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. The successful candidate will manage bookkeeping duties and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records using Sage Line 50.
* Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Handle the full payroll cycle using Sage Payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and pensions.
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Generate and distribute payslips.
* Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
* Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll management.
* Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Knowledge of current payroll legislation and VAT regulations.
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
