You will work with a cohort of female prisoners developing and assessing their practical gardening and waste management skills. This is a hybrid job role. The prison has a varied outside space to maintain and grows produce for the prison kitchens with a developing waste management project. The job holder will be responsible for providing supervision, knowledge and expertise to prisoners within outside spaces and greenhouses and will be responsible for delivering qualifications in these areas. In addition, you will need to meet production targets, ensure a quality service and collaborate with external organisations whilst demonstrating a high level of professionalism to prisoners and staff.
