Sales Manager The Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of the Inside Sales team within the EMEA region for my well established manufacturing client. This role involves managing customer accounts, exploring new growth opportunities, and ensuring accurate forecasting. The manager will also oversee a junior team, fostering their development and guiding their performance to achieve team goals. Sales Manager Responsibilities: Oversee and lead Inside Sales and Customer Service activities within designated markets. The team currently includes the Inside Sales Manager and one Account Manager. Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers by understanding their needs and offering customized solutions. Identify sales growth opportunities through a solid understanding of product applications. Collaborate with External Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to provide timely and accurate sales forecasts. Ensure that customer orders are processed efficiently and all required documentation is provided. Serve as the primary escalation point for customer inquiries related to urgent requests, quality issues, or pricing concerns. Handle daily tasks such as order processing, stock level management, invoicing, shipment coordination, and customer service inquiries. Use sales data analysis to support strategic planning and maintain a strong customer focus. Ensure compliance with export documentation and customs procedures. Proactively engage with customers to anticipate needs and ensure accurate revenue forecasts. Work closely with External Sales teams, attending trade shows and client meetings when necessary. Stay informed on material and manufacturing costs, helping to support margin and pricing decisions. Work with the Accounts team to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Partner with the warehouse team to ensure export compliance and maintain high standards of shipping documentation. Sales Manager Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced skills preferred). A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Highly organised and able to manage workload independently. This is a full time permanent opportunity offering an annual salary between £54-58k depending on experience.
