Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Digging/Repair Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drainage excavation, repairs, and utility installation, with a strong focus on safety and quality. As a Digging/Repair Engineer, you will play a vital role in a variety of projects, working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct excavation work for a variety of projects, including utility installation and repairs.
Perform repairs on various infrastructures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Operate digging machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
Monitor and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project progress.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during excavation and repair processes.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and project timelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a drainage Digging or Repair Engineer, preferably in drainage, construction or civil engineering.
Valid driving license essential (no more than 6 points)
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in excavation and repair work.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, also initiative for lone working
Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, digging, and operating machinery.
