Position Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to explore the complexities of the social world and develop critical thinking skills within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Social Sciences curriculum to students, with a specific focus on concept-driven and inquiry-based learning. Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students. Teach and promote social sciences within the school's program and the wider curriculum using a range of student-centered teaching strategies, resources, and technology. Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery. Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in social sciences teaching.
