Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Medcomms) to join our growing team!
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of projects across the portfolio. This includes ensuring operational effectiveness through the management of delivery systems, financial systems, project management systems and resource allocation processes. This position will need to help guide operationally in working with finance to ensure strict adherence to financial performance goals and collaborate with account management and the CRLs/CSTs to deliver the highest caliber client service. Will work closely with the Real Chemistry PMO lead in accomplishing the goals set forth on an annual and quarterly basis.
What you’ll do:
* Development and management of project timelines, and project plans
* Validation and presentation of project scope, budget, timelines, and staffing plans
* Leadership of internal project teams, to achieve desired business objectives
* Identification and mitigation of risks throughout project lifecycle
* Management of project financials, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and project margin
* Establish & maintain close working relationships with Client Service, Operations, and Finance teams
* Lead by example and assist department manager with mentoring and training other team members
* Prepare financial reports for distribution and analysis as necessary
* Manage creative asks through the creative/production process
* Perform risk planning and mitigation to minimize project risks
* Provide project management for business development efforts, as needed
* Work closely with Finance departments in monitoring and reviewing budgets to actuals
* Participate on cross-functional project teams and provide input on decisions regarding project portfolio governance, management, budgets, staff utilization and projections
Additional Functions:
* Present relevant content at Project Management Community of Practice meetings
* Create new training, and/or modify existing training, as needed
* Deliver project management training during corporate/functional onboarding
* Help to create service or departmental standard operating procedures
* Provide recommended modifications to existing processes based upon key learnings/best practices
* Participate in the continuing professional development program

What you should have:
* 4+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 years of budget management, in a consulting or professional services company working on large projects with 5 to 10 team members and diverse stakeholders
* Agency experience leading integrated or digital projects
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience in:
o Business process planning and implementation planning
o Working with freelancers, contractors and external vendor services, processing contracts, and managing remote teams
o Supporting new business proposals
o MS Office suite, Teams
* Experience working with large clients internationally
* Proven ability to multi-task and interact with many stakeholders
* Capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously
* Must be comfortable interfacing with the client, as required
* Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
* Must be highly organized and able to collaborate with our teams and clients
Desirable:
* Experience in a Medcomms agency (preferably working in the healthcare / Life Sciences industry)
* Video production scoping and delivery for talking head, 2D and 3D Mechanism of Action video formats
* SmartSheet, Salesforce, Box, NetSuite/OpenAir, Workfront experience
* Management of website development projects
* Experience managing Veeva/CDM sales aid development, QA and deployment projects
* Project management certifications including APM, PMP & PRINCE2 training a plus
